DGIM Conducted a Guest Lecture on Fundamentals of Criminal Law

DGIM organized a guest lecture on 'Fundamentals of Criminal Law' to enhance the understanding of law students, delivered by Dr. Chirag Baliyan, Associate Professor of Law at DY Patil University School of Law. Having immense expertise in Criminal Law, the learned guest covered the whole concept regarding the necessity of mens rea and actus reus in the commission of the crime, also discussing criminal liability solely based on actus reus and mens rea. The Lecture enriched the understanding of budding lawyers.

The host of the event, Ms. Komal Sehgal, began the session by welcoming and introducing the guest, and the curtain fell with the felicitation of the guest and a vote of thanks by the host.
