The Legal Aid Cell of DGIM successfully conducted a Public Legal Awareness Drive in Village Wazirpur, led by Sh. Anuj Singh (General Secretary DGIM), Ms. Ripdiman Kaur (HOD, Law Department), and esteemed faculty members Ms. Anjana, Dr. Anangpal, Mr. Adarsh Kumar, Ms. Komal Sehgal, and Mr. Hunain Khalid. A highlight of the outreach was a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play) coordinated by Ms. Manju Bansal and performed by DGIM students. The performance focused on the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, educating villagers on their healthcare rights and the process of securing Ayushman Cards to access government welfare benefits.
Through expressive storytelling and interactive dialogues, students simplified complex legal and healthcare information, fostering a direct connection with the local community. This initiative reflects DGIM’s core belief in grassroots empowerment and social responsibility, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world impact. Guided by the vision of our leadership, the institution remains dedicated to nurturing socially conscious professionals and contributing to a more informed, empowered society.
