Delhi Global Institute of Management (DGIM), Faridabad, successfully organised DGIM Law Fiesta 2026 from 8–10 October 2026, bringing together academic excellence, legal innovation, cultural creativity and student leadership in a grand three-day celebration.
The festival featured national-level legal competitions, an insightful workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Law, inter-college cultural competitions and a memorable Founder's Day celebration honouring DGIM's Founder and Chairman.
The festival commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Gulia, followed by an exciting series of academic competitions.
The day featured the Debate Competition, Constitutional Quiz and National Client Counselling Competition, encouraging critical thinking, legal knowledge, advocacy skills and professional communication.
The Debate Competition was judged by Prof. Jitender Dhull, Dean of Law, M.D. University, Rohtak, and Dr. Vijay Pal Singh, HOD Law, Maharaja Surajmal Institute, Gurugram.
The second day focused on practical legal skills and emerging technologies.
The National Mediation Competition provided participants with a platform to demonstrate negotiation, conflict-resolution and professional communication skills. The final rounds were judged by an esteemed panel comprising Ms. Superna Vinaik, Ms. Madhulika Manohar and Ms. Aastha Chaturvedi.
The day also featured an insightful Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Law, exploring the growing influence of AI on the legal profession and the importance of technological awareness among aspiring legal professionals.
The concluding day was dedicated to the Founder's Day alongside the grand cultural finale of Law Fiesta 2026.
The campus came alive with vibrant Inter-College Solo and Group Dance Competitions, an exciting Inter-College Fashion Show, prize distribution ceremonies and artistic performances.
The cultural competitions were evaluated by Mr. Sumit and Ms. Prerna, with Mr. Mukchund and Ms. Darkshinika also serving as judges for the Fashion Show.
The occasion was further enriched by the gracious presence of distinguished guests, including Ms. Maya Vijayan.
Students from the Department of Interior Design showcased their creativity through decorations, handcrafted artefacts and beautifully organised stalls, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The celebration concluded with an electrifying live performance by Band JAAL, creating a memorable finale for students, faculty and guests.
The success of DGIM Law Fiesta 2026 was made possible through the collective dedication of the Moot Court Society, Legal Aid Society, Cultural Committee, Social Media Committee, Art Team, faculty coordinators and student volunteers.
DGIM Law Fiesta 2026 concluded as a remarkable celebration of knowledge, innovation, creativity and togetherness, reaffirming the institution's commitment to holistic education, experiential learning and student excellence.
